Berlin Marzahn is the capital’s youngest district and carries a rather poor reputation. However, long-time Berlin native Hajo knows that there is more to it than prefabricated housing blocks and affordable apartments. He has lived in Marzahn by choice for over 15 years and would not trade his apartment block for a historic building in Mitte.

What makes Marzahn a place worth living in, how did it come to be, and what could the future of the district look like?
